Hi Simon,

I suppose a book club could work in Munich. There are certainly enough English language readers around to support something like this. However, this would entail several "club members" who are willing to pool the books they want to sell and somebody, who is willing to put time into organizing which books go where. Also this idea will have to be sufficiently advertised so that others find out about the offer.

Here's a link to a German site listing several options. I've only looked into momox, but for them all of my books were worthless. However they would give me one euro cent if I sent them the books for "recycling".

Needless to say, I'm still giving my books away to the neighbors.

Dean, thanks for the comment - appreciate you taking the time to share your views.

As a small business user, I'd say: don't overlook the SME segment. Not everyone who has a BB wants (or needs, anymore) a BES solution. A huge number of enterprises of all sizes are moving to hosted mail services offered by firms like Google, and therefore are BIS customers. The economics of enterprise email are changing ...

Some utilities would have been great, like perhaps a business expense tracker among all those games.

Best wishes, Simon

No, I think this was quite a reasonable response as the outage only affected BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) and not BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) customers, as I understand it.

BIS is overwhelmingly a consumer proposition, although there are probably business users in small companies / self-employed who were also hit by this, who should also have had some recompense beyond games - perhaps utilities or transport apps, for example.
